This conservation project involved the removal of 16,000 blue Bangor slates from the principal mill, as well as the careful extraction and refurbishment of oak trusses. These trusses were then reinstalled into specially prepared pockets within the existing stone walls.

The work was carried out under the guidance of the Local Authority Conservation Officer, ensuring adherence to heritage standards.
